Can you tell photography is back at the Egyptian Museum?

Jeff Burzacott August 28, 2016

In the current issue of Nile Magazine we celebrate the recent change of heart from the Ministry of Antiquities, allowing photography inside Cairo’s Egyptian Museum for the first time in around 10 years. Naturally many visitors make a beeline for Tutankhamun's famous golden mask.

I’m sure you’ll love the wonderful new photos of Egypt's ancient masterpieces.

Photographer Manna Nader also provides us with some tips for taking photos in any museum.
Our favourite: "To cut down on the reflection on some of the glass cabinets, wear dull clothing." So simple, yet effective!
