WHAT IS NILE MAGAZINE ALL ABOUT?

Nile Magazine is all about your love/passion/obsession for ancient Egypt. Each issue explores the history, mystery and wonder of ancient Egypt, packed with the most fascinating stories, and brought to life with spectacular photography. Nile is big, glossy and fabulous. You'll have a hard time putting it down!

IS NILE A PRINT OR DIGITAL MAGAZINE?

Both. The print edition of Nile Magazine is sold in WHSmiths across the U.K., and via subscription in the U.K. and everywhere else.
The Nile Magazine app is available from Pocketmags.com for all your smartphones, tablets and devices. You can get your fix of Nile time anywhere you go.
 

HOW OFTEN DOES NILE COME OUT?

Nile is published every two months, with new issues released in February, April, June, August, October and December.
 

CAN I BUY A GIFT SUBSCRIPTION?

Yes. During payment, simply provide the recipient's details for the Shipping Address and Nile will arrive at their doorstep.
 

WHERE DOES NILE MAGAZINE SHIP TO?

We ship to pretty well anywhere in the world.
 

CAN I CHOOSE THE ISSUE THAT MY SUBSCRIPTION STARTS?

Absolutely. You can choose to start your subscription with the current issue on sale, the previous issue (you'll receive both the previous and current issues), or the next issue.
 

WHEN WILL THE FIRST ISSUE OF MY SUBSCRIPTION BE DISPATCHED?

The dispatch centre mails out new subscriptions every Tuesday. After that, it just depends on where you are and how quick the mail is.
 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

Prices displayed include all delivery costs and taxes. There are no hidden surprises!

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE THERE?

You can pay by any Credit Card. On payment you will receive an email confirming the transaction and giving you a receipt for your records.
 

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN IT'S TIME TO RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION?

We will email you approximately one month prior to the last issue before your subscription expires. For example, if the last issue of your subscription is April-May, you should receive a message from us around the first week of March.
 

HOW DO I SUBMIT A CHANGE OF ADDRESS?

Easy! Just email us at hello@nilemagazine.com.au and let us know of your old and new address details.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS - NILE MAGAZINE APP
 

HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE WITH THE APP?

12-month digital subscriptions (6 issues) on your favourite iOS or Android devices can be purchased in two ways and synchronized across multiple devices:

  1. Within the Nile Magazine App, once the app has been installed on your preferred handheld iOs or Android device (see the Nile Store page for links), or
  2. at PocketMags.com (without downloading the Nile Magazine App).
     

IN-APP FAQ

Be sure to check out the in-app FAQ by pressing the ? (question mark) icon on the top bar in the app.
The FAQ includes tips on:

  • Navigating within the app
  • Creating your free PocketMags account
  • Managing purchases
  • Syncing downloaded issues to multiple devices
  • Downloading back issues
  • Restoring deleted issues, etc.

WHEN WILL MY DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTION START?

For subscriptions purchased within the app on your handheld device, the latest issue will be added to your account and can be downloaded to your device immediately. If you already have the latest issue on your device (because you purchased it as a single issue some time before purchasing a subscription), then your subscription will begin with the next issue is released.

For subscriptions purchased on PocketMags.com (for viewing on your PC or Mac), your subscription will begin when the next issue is released.
 

WHY SHOULD I CREATE A POCKETMAGS ACCOUNT?

It is highly recommended that you create a PocketMags account to protect your purchases in the case of a lost or stolen device, or when you have inadvertently deleted issues from your device.

A PocketMags account also allows you to sync your downloads across multiple devices.

You can create a free PocketMags account within the app by clicking the Options buttons (gear icon) and pressing the "Login/Register" button.
Alternatively, you can create a PocketMags account via the PocketMags.com website.
 

HOW DO I SYNC MY DOWNLOADED ISSUES TO MULTIPLE DEVICES?

In order to sync your digital downloads/purchases across multiple devices (your iPhone, iPad, computer, etc.), you will need to create a free PocketMags account (under the gear icon called "Options">"Login/Register") on the device you initially used to make your digital purchase. Then, you may login on other devices using those same login credentials to view your purchases on those other devices.
 

CAN I BUY A DIGITAL GIFT SUBSCRIPTION?

Yes! You can purchase and send a digital subscription via the PocketMags.com website following these instructions.
Once fulfilled, the recipient may propagate their subscription to any device that can run the Nile Magazine App or the PocketMags App. They can also read their subscription on a PC or Mac.
Gift subscriptions require both the gift giver and the gift recipient to have (or create) a free PocketMags account.
 

WILL THE APP BE AVAILABLE ON OTHER DEVICES?

At the moment, Magazine Cloner (our app developer) has relationships with Apple, Google and Amazon. Each platform requires the technology to adapt the app to the provider's unique specifications. Right now, the app works on iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android smartphone or tablet devices, PC, Mac, Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD, Blackberry PlayBook, Windows Phone, Windows 8, and Windows 10. All of these devices are designed to optimally display full-colour, high-resolution, interactive magazine content.

The app developer may add new device compatibility over time. We have no information on when new device compatibility will be added. For more information on device compatibility, please contact help@pocketmags.com.

If you are having trouble downloading or syncing your purchases, please include copies of your subscription or single issues purchase receipts when emailing help@pocketmags.com.
